Baxenden have announced the signing of Ben Gorton as professional for 2024. Gorton hit 1428 runs at 38.6, including two centuries and twelve half centuries in his two seasons at Accrington. He also took 19 wickets and picked up 26 catches and six stumpings.

Alice Clarke is one of three Lancashire League players along with Clitheroe's Alex Hartley and Lowerhouse's Liberty Heap to have been included in a 15 strong Lancashire Thunder squad for training at the ICC Academy in Dubai on Saturday March 11th. After three games against UAE Women, Thunder will then embark on a pre-season tour to Mumbai on March 19th for two 50 over games.
