Accrington are on the road again on Sunday making the trip to Bacup Road to face Rawtenstall. Accrington were beaten at East Lancs last Sunday whilst Rawtenstall's game at Nelson ended as a no result.
Rawtenstall won the meeting of the two clubs back in April.

Andrew Greenwood returns for Accrington in place of Mohammed Tayyib. Rawtenstall give a senior debut to Israr Khan who replaces Marley Askew.

The seconds host Rawtenstall in the reverse fixture on Sunday.

The thirds will host Lowerhouse 4th XI in a re-arranged game on Saturday.

The club is looking for an umpire and a scorer for this game and for the remainder of the season.

Weekend teams

This season we have a double Looking Back Feature going back to 1993 when Neil Johnson was professional and also to 2013 when the club won the Lancashire League title for the last time with Ashar Zaidi as professional.

In 1993 Accrington went down to a 6 wicket home defeat to Rishton on Sunday July 18th.

In 2013 league leaders Accrington took a giant step towards the title by increasing their lead at the top of the table to 35 points after a third win in the last year at the home of the champions Lowerhouse on Sunday July 14th.
