No Return For Jacob And Ben

Jacob Clarke will not be re-signing as professional for the 2024 season.

The club would like to thank Jacob for his continued commitment over the last two years as professional.

In his two seasons as professional Jacob scored 1266 runs at 32.5, including four centuries and three half centuries. He also picked up 71 wickets at 24.3.

Everyone at Accrington Cricket Club would like to wish Jacob well for the future.

The club would also like to wish Ben Gorton well as he departs to become professional at Baxenden.

Ben hit 1428 runs at 38.6 with two centuries and twelve half centuries and he took 19 wickets and claimed 33 victims in his two seasons at the club.

Our search for next season's professional is underway and we hope to secure next season's professional very soon.
