Accrington play their final home game of the season on Sunday when they entertain eighth placed Bacup at The Property Shop Arena.

Bacup make three changes with Charlie Gansler, Leo Goddard and Liam Naylor replacing Chris Gansler, Ben Excell and Ben Lord.

The seconds travel to Todmorden on Sunday.

On Saturday the thirds host Group 3 leaders Greenmount.

Just a reminder that all games will be starting at 12.30pm this weekend.

Weekend teams

This season we have a double Looking Back Feature going back to 1993 when Neil Johnson was professional and also to 2013 when the club won the Lancashire League title for the last time with Ashar Zaidi as professional.

In 1993 Accrington had a double header. On Saturday September 4th Accrington won at East Lancs by 4 wickets with seventeen year-old off spinner Justin Greenwood proving to be the match winner, taking 5-28 to bowl the home side out for 137. The following day Accrington went down to a 22 run home defeat to Colne inspite of Mark Greenhalgh's 6-95 from an unbroken 23 over spell.

In 2013 new Lancashire League champions Accrington rounded off their season at Thorneyholme Road with a 63 run win over second placed Ramsbottom.
