Peter Barratt

Situations Vacant
Chairman Peter Barratt and Treasurer Karen Stephenson are standing down at the AGM. Both positions need to be filled on the night. Thanks to both officers for their service. Peter has been chairman since 1992 and has been involved with the club since 1980 when his son Paul first played as a junior.

Working Party/ Action Group

In December 2003, the Club formed an Action Group to implement some of the ideas put forward by the Membership at the EGM. The Group has since been meeting on a regular basis and will be working hard in the coming months to increase income via fund raising activities and sponsorship. It is vital that the members support the efforts of the Action Group as we strive to achieve one common goal - to make Accrington Cricket Club successful.

Nets
Nets have started at Moorhead on Friday evenings from 6.30 for Juniors with Seniors taking over at 7.45pm.

Junior Cricket
The Hyndburn Cricket Development Groups Annual Indoor Cricket Festival begins on Sunday February 8th at Hyndburn Sports Centre. The Under 13s (Accrington Lightning) are in Group A with Great Harwood Hawks and Baxenden Stags on that date. The Under 15s play on February 15th against Great Harwood Hawks and Church Cheetas with a match against Baxenden Stags on February 29th. The finals will be played on March 7th.

Scott Hudson and Stuart Crabtree

Second teamers Scott Hudson and Stuart Crabtree are going to South Africa to stay with Andre Seymore for a month from February 3rd. They will play for Andre's club side.
