Fitness Coach Dave Kennedy took the team through the pre match football ritual before the opening game with Colne on a beautiful Sunday afternoon on April 23rd.	But poor old Dave tore a tendon to become the first casualty of the afternoon	Jill's new book stall quickly attracted interest
The supporters began to roll in	Money men Keith and Mark got together	Stuart the new scorer studies the teams
Before taking up his position with the scorebook	Ian promises more tales from the Dressing Room	Zed Afzal and David Ormerod show the style that earned selection for the League Team
At last it's time for the off with Zed and Graeme leading the way	The crowd at the Huncoat End basked in the unexpected sunshine	The Ormerod's were out in force to watch David's return
It was to be an historic day with new professional Nishit Shetty marking his debut with an unbeaten 155 More pics of this knock	Balls were lost as Nishit smashed six sixes	Graeme and Nishit added 75 after losing Zed early on
Matt unveiled his reverse sweep for the first time this season in adding 103 with Nishit	Nishit leaves the field	To a standing ovation
As Accrington made the highest score of the day	The tea interval wicket repair team	David Ormerod soon changed ends
And takes a fine boundary catch off DC to dismiss the dangerous Gyan Pandey	Nishit's sore knee meant he had to leave the field after bowling just one over	And he takes his place on the treatment bench with Nasser and Club First Aider Alven
David bowls Matt Clark to pick up his fourth and the teams ninth wicket	Zed clean bowls John Lambert and it's all over. Top of the table for six days at least!	Nasser Hussain helped Accrington fight back against Ramsbottom after the loss of four quick wickets following the controversial dismissal of Nishit Shetty on April 29th
The home match against Rawtenstall on May 6th produced Accrington's highest score of all time, beating the previous best set back in 1913 Pics of this historic day	There was plenty to discuss the day after at Todmorden	But no cricket as the match was abandoned without play
The 3rds were rained off for the second time when they should have played Rishton on May 13th	We met up with an old friend at Rishton	Nishit took 2-56 but rain stopped him batting
Rod and Ian take a ground tour at Rishton	A thunderstorm prevented the Under 11s match against Haslingden from being played on May 18th.	Nishit made 88 out of 125 but Burnley won the 1st Round Worsley Cup tie by 6 wickets on May 27th
And Saf returned from Down Under to see it happen	Tama Canning returned with Haslingden on June 18th	Wicketkeeper James Ormerod, who is quietly making a name for himself in league circles, had a hard time as the bowlers sprayed it around in Haslingden's rain affected last ball win
The clubhouse was packed on Wednesday June 21st for the return of Accrington's favourite son	Members of the LET Cup winning side lined up	Radio Lancashire's Phil Bird interviewed David Lloyd who was in fine form on a magical evening

Simon Hanson hit a superb unbeaten century for Hyndburn Under 15s Town Team at Thorneyholme Road. The home side made 225-4 and then bowled Burnley out for 135.	League champions Lowerhouse gained revenge for their recent defeat, hitting 257-9 and then bowling Accrington out for 120 on Saturday July 22nd	On Sunday it was up to Bacup where Chris Cairns soon made his mark, taking 6-35
David Ormerod received a warm welcome on his return to his old stamping ground as Bacup won by 8 wickets	There was some good news up at Bacup when Nishit re-signed for the 2007 season ©Nigel Stockley	Back on home territory, we had the front of the pavilion spruced up
A captain needs to look at all the angles as demonstrated by Matt Wilson	England bowler James Anderson continued his comeback from injury with Burnley at Accrington on August 26th	David Ormerod celebrates his 50th wicket of the season with James Ormerod and Stuart Crabtree after dismissing Burnley's Steve Brunt in the same game
