Thursday August 25th
In the final game of the season Accrington Under 11 "A" Team beat Salisbury by 150 runs.  Batting first Accrington amassed 316 runs for loss of 4 wickets with Ryan Pearson top scoring with 22, Bryn Hargreaves 21 and Jacob Clarke  and Josh Roberts both scoring 17. In reply Salisbury only managed  166 losing 13 wickets. Jacob Clarke and Dom Ashton took 3 wickets each, Bryn Hargreaves and Ryan Pearson took 2 and Harris Ali, Sohail and Josh Roberts 1 each.

Thursday August 18th

In the home game versus Ramsbottom, Accrington Under 11 "A" Team won by 40 runs.  In a game which they had to win to clinch the league title, the boys put in a solid all-round performance.  Ramsbottom batted first and made 225 for the loss of 4 wickets, with Ryan Pearson 2 wickets and Sohail and Brad Juliff one wicket each.  In reply Accrington scored 265 losing only 2 wickets. Ryan Pearson top scoring with 17 and Sam Tattersall scoring 12.

 

Thursday August 11th

In the Under 11's "A" team game away to 2nd placed Longridge, Accrington won in a thrilling game by 8 runs. Batting first Accrington made 233 for the loss of 3 wickets, Sohail top scoring with 14. In reply Longridge were cruising and only needed to block out the last few overs, but top bowling by firstly Sohail with 2 quick wickets, then Jacob Clarke and Bryn Hargreaves with one each and Josh Roberts with two in his last over meant Accrington sealed a vital win over their nearest rivals. In the end Bryn Hargreaves and Sohail took 2 wickets, Harris Ali and Jacob Clarke took 1 each, and Josh Roberts took 3.

Monday August 8th

In the Under 11's "A" Team game away to Salesbury Accrington won by 49 runs. Batting first Accrington reached 259 for the loss of 4 wickets. Jacob Clarke top scoring with 14 and Bryn Hargreaves making 12. In reply Salesbury made 210 losing 8 wickets. Jacob Clarke taking 3 wickets, very nearly a hat-trick,  Dominic Ashton and Sohail 2 wickets and Bryn Hargreaves 1 wicket.

Thursday July 21st
Accrington beat Church by 28 runs. In there poorest batting display of the season Accrington managed 237 runs losing 7 wickets in the process. Only Sam Tattersall, Hamayoon, Ryan Pearson and Dominic Ashworth kept their wicket intact, Ryan top scoring with 15.  In reply they bowled and fielded very well restricting Church to 209 losing 6 wickets.  Dominic Ashworth and Sohail took 2 wickets and Jacob Clarke and Ryan Pearson one each.


Thursday June 30th
Accrington beat East Lancs in a close finish. Batting first Accrington made 236 losing only 2 wickets with Sam Tattersall top scoring with 10. In reply East Lancs made steady progress and went into the last 2 overs needing 15 to win, but a wicket from Jacob Clarke and a some some good fielding meant Accrington won by 4 runs, finishing on 232-7. There were 2 direct run-outs from Bryn Hargreaves and Josh Roberts and wickets from Harris Ali, Josh Roberts, Sohail and 2 from Jacob Clarke.

Thursday June 23rd
The Under 11 "A" Team beat Ramsbottom tonight in a close game.

Batting first Accrington scored 236 losing only 2 wickets, Harris Ali top scoring with 7. In reply Ramsbottom needed 8 going into the final over but lost 2 wickets, and finished on 221. There were 3 run-outs from Ryan Pearson, Josh Roberts and Sam Tattersall and a wicket for Bryn Hargreaves.

Thursday June 9th
Accrington Under 11's "A" Team lost their cup game away to East Lancs in a game which went to the last over.

Batting first, East Lancs made 252  for the loss of 5 wickets with Bryn Hargreaves and Sohail taking 2 wickets each and Jacob Clarke 1. In reply Accrington struggled, losing wickets at regular intervals.  With the last pair going out to bat Accrington needed 46 from 4 overs, but some big hitting and clever running between the wickets which saw the panicking East Lancs fielders concede many extras Accrington finished an agonising 7 runs short, Jacob Clarke hitting 14 and Bryn Hargreaves 11.


Monday June 6th
In the league under 11 game versus Church on Monday 6th June, Accrington Under 11 "A" Team won by 63 runs. Batting first Accrington reached 242, losing only 2 wickets, top scores of 11 by Sam Tattersall and Bryn Hargreaves. In reply Church managed 181 in the face of an excellent bowling and tight fielding display. Jacob Clarke claiming 4 wickets, at one point being on a "hat-trick" and 1 wicket each from Jacob Johnson, Dominic Ashworth and Bryn Hargreaves. 

Thursday May 19th
The Under 11s made it through to the next round of the cup by beating Rishton. Batting first Accrington scored 271 and lost 4 wickets, Ryan Pearson scoring 27 n.o. and Jacob Clarke (10) Sam Tattersall (9) and Sohail (8) all contributing. In reply Rishton managed 215 losing 3 wickets with the Accrington bowlers all bowling a tight line. Accrington will face East Lancs away in early June.

Monday May 16th
Accrington won at home to Longridge in a low scoring game and freezing conditions.  Batting first Longridge managed 200 with good bowling all round and the wickets being shared around, Bryn Hargreaves took 3 good catches and was at one point on a hat-trick.  In reply Accrington batted solidly with good defensive play. A late scare when 2 quick wickets mean't there was a nail biting finish, but Accrington ended on 211.

Thursday May 12th
Accrington lost their first game of the season away to East Lancs, batting first EL made 252 with wickets from Harris Ali and Sohail. Accrington in reply reached 230, after good batting from the opening 2 pairs in which no wickets were lost, wickets tumbled.

June 21st
The Under 11s B, containing six players who qualify for the Under 9s, beat Haslingden. Accrington made 241-3 with Brad Juliff scoring 10. The innings featured some fine running between the wickets from Connor Tattersall and D. Armstrong. Haslingden made 221-7 with Brad taking 3 wickets and Sam Tattersall bowling very tightly.

May 18th
The Under 11s B lost their first match against Darwen. Darwen made 224 and Accrington replied with 196. In their second match Accrington (215) beat Longridge (213). After two matches, Ryan Ormerod has scored 12 runs and Jacob Tattersall has taken 2-5.
