Rawtenstall beat Accrington by 4 wickets at The Property Shop Arena. An opening stand of 104 between Stuart Crabtree and Ben Gorton was the highlight of Accrington's 160-9. Gorton hit nine fours in his 54 which was his third half century of the season. Rizwan Shafiq broke the stand, holding on to a return catch off Gorton. Imran Abid removed Toby Bulcock (1) five runs later. Shafiq struck again removing Crabtree for 41 with the score on 120. Professional Jacob Clarke and skipper Graeme Sneddon put on 26 before Ishaq Hussain trapped the home skipper in front for 8. One run later Jon Hayhurst (1) fell to sub professional Faizan Riaz. Clarke was trapped in front for 17 by Rawtenstall captain Adil Hussain who dished out the same treatment to Jimmy Hayhurst (4) at 153. Rick Williams (1) fell to Riaz without addition and Riley Armstrong (1) was cleaned up by Adil Hussain (3-12 from 8 overs) at 157. Connor Tattersall (5 not out) and Matt Taylor (0) were both unbeaten when the innings closed, Clarke sent back Ishaq Hussain (7) at 17. Adil Hussain and Abbaas Ahmad took the score to 51 when Ahmad was run out by Clarke for 22. Jimmy Hayhurst removed Riaz (5) and Shafiq (4) but Abid helped his captain push the total into three figures before falling to Bulcock at 106. Adil Hussain fell at 144 stumped by Gorton off Bulcock for 50 made from 122 with five fours. Siraj Hussain took charge with an unbeaten 28 helped by Ben Roscoe (6 not out) to see Rawtenstall to victory in the 47th over.
