Accrington won for the first time since May 19th beating Rawtenstall by 15 runs at the newly christened Property Shop Arena. Professional Janith Liyanage top scored with 45 in Accrington's 164-9. Liyanage hit seven fours in his 68 ball innings. Keiren Grimshaw made 43, Jimmy Hayhurst an unbeaten 17 and Andrew Greenwood 17. Keith Roscoe took 3-32 and Andrew Payne 3-38 for Rawtenstall. Liyanage then took 4-29, Jacob Clarke 3-33 and Jimmy Hayhurst 2-20 to dismiss Rawtenstall for 149. Imran Abid hit a career best 64 from 95 balls with ten fours from the top of the order, adding 46 with Tabassum Aziz (14) but Clarke dismissed Aziz, professional Keegan Petersen (13) and Paul Collis (8) with Liyanage taking the last 4 wickets to wrap up victory with 4 overs remaining.
