Another good all round team performance took Accrington to victory in their first ever match against Milnrow at Ladyhouse. Keiren Grimshaw took a career best 3-31 and professional Janith Liyanage 2-40 with Milnrow professional Neil Hornbuckle top scoring with 52 in his team's 163 all out. Hornbuckle hit four fours in a 60 ball innings, adding 43 with Harry Royds (35) and 56 with Max Power who hit an unbeaten 33. Skipper Aaron Brown was the only other player in double figures with 12. Openers Graeme Sneddon (24) and Jon Hayhurst (11) put on 49 and then Grimshaw (34) and Liyanage (16) put on 49 for the 3rd wicket. Hornbuckle took 4-60 and Jack Wynn 2-34 but Sam Bancroft hit an unbeaten 21 and Jacob Clarke 15 to steer Accrington to a maximum points win with 4 overs to spare.
