Accrington top the table after taking maximum points at Enfield for the third successive match. A superb unbeaten 124 by Keiren Grimshaw saw Accrington make 226-5. Grimshaw hit ten fours and three sixes during his 123 ball innings which is the highest against Enfield by an Accrington amateur. Following the loss of Jon Hayhurst (3) at 7 and professional Janith Liyanage (5) at 15, Grimshaw added 128 for the 3rd wicket with Ramiz Hussain (45), 29 for the 4th wicket with Jacob Clarke (14) and 50 for the 5th wicket with Alex Jakeman (18). Skipper Ross Brown took 3-34 in a 15 over spell to help bowl out Enfield for 188. Jakeman and Liyanage also took 2-30 with Jack Cook making 41, Wes Ingham 30, professional Shash Pussegolla 21, Greg Jones 20 and Anthony Steele a league best 21 before falling to Raheem Kasser with 5 balls left. Skipper Ross Brown said: "We are happy to get off to a strong start after only winning eight league games last season.
