East Lancs v Accrington
East Lancs move back up to joint second place with Todmorden on 52 points after a 54 run win over Accrington at Alexandra Meadows. The visitors had to play without a professional following the late withdrawal of Michael Erlank through illness. East Lancs professional Andries Gous top scored with 70 made from 55 balls and containing eight fours and two sixes. The South African made his runs out of 104 scored whilst he was at the crease in this 25 overs a-side contest. Mark Cattermull made an unbeaten 38, Mo Bhada 35 and skipper John Turner 14 in the home sides 181-5. Jacob Clarke took 2-8 for Accrington. Helped by 27 extras conceded by East Lancs, 25 of which were wides, Accrington closed on 127-7. Ramiz Hussain hit an unbeaten 20, Graeme Sneddon 16, skipper Simon Hanson 15 and Ross Brown an unbeaten 14 with Minhaj Bhada taking 2-30 and Mo Bhada 2-18 for East Lancs.
