Accrington went down to a fourth successive league defeat, going down by 8 wickets at Burnley. Skipper Simon Hanson (16) was the only player in the top eight to make double figures as Cole Hayman (3-27), professional Chris Holt (3-24) and Bharat Tripathi, who took 3 wickets for no runs in a devastating six over spell, shared nine of the wickets. Sam Bancroft top scored with 28 for Accrington, hitting four fours in facing 72 balls. Jimmy Hayhurst hit 17 out of 26 runs in a 9th wicket stand with the wicketkeeper who was last man out with the score on 90. Holt then hit an unbeaten 57 from 49 balls with six fours and two sixes to see Burnley to victory in the 15th over. Holt put on 51 with Liam Bedford (16) for the 1st wicket
