An unbroken 5th wicket stand of 54 between Stuart Crabtree (29 not out) and Graham Lloyd (30 not out) helped champions Accrington move into a clear lead at the top of the table after a 6 wicket win at former joint leaders Ramsbottom. The visitors were struggling at 18-3 chasing Ramsbottom's 106 all out, but professional Roy Silva (19) and Crabtree put on 35 to steady the ship before Silva fell to his opposite number Parchment. Accrington skipper David Ormerod had earlier taken 4-31 from 18 overs as Ramsbottom struggled to 52-7 before Richard Hevingham (29), Nick Murphy (11) and Jack Walmsley (15 not out) fought back to take the score into three figures.
