Accrington have won the Lancashire League title for the first time since 1975. Accrington's match at Rawtenstall was called off at 2.15pm when a heavy shower ended any hopes of play. The result leaves Accrington 17 points clear with just one match to play and means that the club has won the league and cup double for the first time in its history. Send your congratulations

Accrington's double is the 20th time in the Lancashire League's history that the feat has been achieved. East Lancs hold the record with six doubles followed by Nelson with four. Bacup and Todmorden have achieved it twice and Accrington, Burnley, Colne, Rishton, Rawtenstall and Haslingden once. Haslingden were the last club to do the double in 1997. Church, Enfield, Lowerhouse and Ramsbottom have never achieved the double.

The other four games were called off before play was due to start.
