A busy weekend of action starts on Friday when Accrington host Nelson in the first round of matches in this season's T20 Competition.

Accrington are in the JWL Founders Group along with holders Darwen, Colne, Nelson, Rishton and Burnley.

After the game our own Don Pietro features in the band The Rare Sugar Collective.

The seconds are in action on Saturday hosting Rochdale in the Junior Cup 2nd Round in a match that will start at 12.30pm.

Len Dewhurst returns to lead the team.

Accrington welcome Rawtenstall to The Property Shop Arena on Sunday.

Both sides have three wins and three defeats with eleven bonus points.

Accrington's one point deduction on the opening day leaves them one place below Rawtenstall in sixth.

Connor Tattersall returns for Accrington in place of Nathan Mashiter.

Faizan Riaz stands in as sub professional for Rawtenstall who bring in Ishaq Hussain and Abdullah Fazalerabbi, who makes his senior debut, for Blake Pickup and Matt Kershaw.

The seconds travel to Rawtenstall in the reverse fixture.

This season's Looking Back Feature takes us back to 1992 when Dipak Patel was professional. This week we look back at the match against local rivals Rishton on Sunday May 31st which was abandoned with the result delicately poised.
