Accrington Under 13s 2016

Under 13s v Salesbury on June 30th
ACC under13s lost to Salesbury with a poor batting performance.
Salesbury batted first, and some good bowling and fielding kept them to 232 from 16 overs.

George Mills 2 for 13.
Edward 1 for 11.
Brad 2 for 0.
ACC batting second lost  wickets at regular intervals with only 3 batters with plus figures.

Under 13s v Nelson on June 16th
ACC 13S batted first and scored 311 off their 16 overs.
Edward and George Mills scored 30 from the first 4 overs.
Josh and James scored 11.
Tom and George Haworth scored  35.
And Alex and Brad scored 25.
Nelson batting second lost wickets at regular intervals
and scored 207.
Best bowling.
Tom 1 wkt for 2 runs.
George Mills 2 wkts for 5 runs.
George Haworth 2 wkts for10 runs.
Josh 1 wkt for16 runs.
Brad 1 wkt for6 runs.
Again a very good performance.

ACC  under 13s match at Rawtenstall on 8th June.

ACC  batted first and put in a tremendous performance, scoring 349 from their 16 overs.
Edward and George Mills  put on 24 from the first 4 overs.
Josh and James put on 15.
George Howarth and Ellie put on 28.
And Bradley and Alex put on 41 in the last 4 overs.
Rawtenstall started their innings well scoring 13 from the first 2 overs, then the downpour came and the game had to be abandoned

Darwen under 13s away Tuesday 24th May

Under 13s played their first game of the season at Darwen on Tuesday night.
Bowling first ACC  with some tight bowling and good fielding kept Darwen to 236 off 16 overs.
 George Mills bowled two overs for 2 runs.
 George Howarth two overs for 4 runs.
 James  Meacham two overs one for 11.
 Charlie three overs three for seventeen.
ACC batting second got off to a slow start and lost  early wickets but Tom Walker hit two sixes and three fours to keep his side in contention along with Josh Lloyd who batted his four overs without losing his wicket.
The game got really close towards the end, but some good hitting from the last pair Alex and Charlie saw ACC home by one run.
