The scorecard speaks for itself, but I would like like say that the team performed brilliantly against Darwen 'A' team !! Yes I say 'A' team. The Darwen team allegedly consisted of at least FOUR 'A' team players?

So much for playing the game in the spirit intended ? Our lads performed superbly, Josh Armstrong scoring, sorry bludgeoning 23 runs in no time. (Also hit 2 vehicles, one unfortunately belonged to Jake Shephards Grandad!!).Could have been three, but fortunately he just missed Mas Ahmed's car !!

Simon Hanson also Scoring 20 runs. Special praise has to go to our debutants, Waqar (by name & nature) who scored 6 runs and took a wicket. Well done Waqar, and lets hope there are plenty of more runs to come?

Also to Ryan 'Razzer' Pearson. Scored 3 on his debut, and bowled one over for just 5 runs. Once again well done 'Razzer'.

Once again a great game, but not for the first time this season, we were pipped at the end.
