Lenny loses the toss again Burnley decides to bat. Accrington got off to a good start Gul picking up the first victim ct Kevin Wood at gully score on 6, Toc followed up in the next over trapping the batsman LBW. After 12 overs Kevin replaced Toc with the score 43 Kevin soon picked a fine caught and bowled with the total now 61 Bryn was also now in the attack Ramiz replaced him after his 5 over spell the two Burnley batsmen took the total to 151 when Ramiz bowled the Burnley batsman on 83, lenny had also joined the bowling picking up the next two one LBW and the other caught Gul. Andrew Greenwood had started the match as keeper when Sam Tattersall hurt his hand in the warm up, Andy caught one off Ramiz and stumped the other off Lenny in-between Ramiz had the 8th wkt bowled Burnley hung on to stop Accrington picking up a point 189 for 9.

Accrington off to the usual start lost there first two Wkts for 14 runs. Different opening pair same problem. in the 11 th over Andy lbw for 13 in the next 4 overs Accrington loss Wkts cheaply total now 57 for 6 until Jake Clarke joins Ramiz at the wicket they pulled it round a bit when Ramiz was caught on 32 making the total 79 Accrington now have a mammoth task if they are going to over haul Burnley’s total. But wait what a great performance between Gul and Jake dragging the total back over by over now the Burnley Capt. was looking worried changing his bowlers around and falling out with the umpires. After a 72 run 8th wkt partnership Jake was bowled another fine innings by a young Accrington lad scoring 31, but Gul soon followed trying to chaise the total on 42 ct on the boundary. Now at the crease making his second xi debut Connor Tattersall scored 3 not out with Lenny still chaise the points plundered the bowler with a four and 6 before the overs ran out 19 short.
