The first match to finish of the three to be completed was at Accrington where Rawtenstall came away with an 8 wicket win. An unbroken 9th wicket stand of 34 between Mohammed Tayyib (21 not out) and Andy Greenwood (12 not out) helped Accrington make 93-8 in a 24 overs aside game. Professional Jacob Clarke also made 20, Kian Farnworth 13 and Ali Hasham 10 with Abbaas Ahmad taking a career best 4-20 and professional Sean Whitehead picking up 2-18 for Rawtenstall. Clarke had Matt Kershaw (1) caught behind by Ric Williams at 34 and Siraj Hussain trapped skipper Dean Barlow (33) in front at 49 but Sam Kershaw (35 not out) and Whitehead (8 not out) saw Rawtenstall to a comfortable victory in the 15th over.
