Another record breaking game at The Log Cabin in Division 2 saw Greenmount break their own league record score set only last week and their professional Jacques Snyman shatter the league record for the highest individual innings in a 212 run win against Accrington. Snyman hit an incredible unbeaten 269 in Greenmount's 443-8, putting Thikshila de Silva's previous record of 219 in the shade. Snyman hit 28 boundaries and fifteen sixes in his 139 ball assault after Kian Farnworth (2-37) had removed Evan Williams (0) at 2 and Andy Kerr (9) at 38. Tom Heaton (80 from 56 balls with eight fours and five sixes) added 145 for the 3rd wicket with Snyman. Masihullah Patel (2-71 from 6 overs) ended the stand and then trapped skipper Travis Townsend in front next ball. Dan Stevens (31) then added 73 for the 5th wicket before falling to Yousuf Ali. Ryan Senior (6) was run out at 272 and one run later Ben Gorton trapped Callum Hunter in front without scoring. Professional Jacob Clarke (1-114 from 12 overs) removed Matt Donnelly (4) at 310. Sam Greenhalgh (15 not out) and Snyman then piled on the agony for Accrington with an unbroken new league record 9th wicket stand of 133. Snyman then picked up 4-34 and Callum Hunter took 3-67 to bowl Accrington out for 231. Clarke (34) and Gorton put on 44 in reply before Clarke fell to Hunter. Townsend removed Farnworth (7) at 67 and Gorton (40) was trapped in front at 101 by Snyman. Ten runs later Snyman cleaned up Ali (4). Ali Hasham and Andy Greenwood put on 75 for the 5th wicket before Greenwood fell to Heaton for 38. Hasham completed his half century, making 50, including five fours and three sixes, before falling to Hunter at 192.
