George Barnes hit a career best 71 and Safyan Ahmed took 4-18 with Danny Kegg chipping in with 3-4 to help Colne to a 64 run win over Accrington at The Horsfield in a 33 overs a-side game. Barnes hit five sixes and three fours after Colne had struggled to 39-4. Accrington professional Jacob Clarke took 5-34 with skipper Tom Bradshaw hitting an unbeaten 20, Jake Greenbank 20 and opener Sam Tillotson 14 in Colne's 162-7. Stuart Crabtree hit 53 from 60 balls, including three fours and a six but Kian Farnworth's 10 was the only other double figure score for Accrington who now drop to next to bottom place after being bowled out for 98. Colne's win was the club's third in a row.
