Bacup professional Chirag Khurana turned in the best bowling figures of the season in Division 2 to lead his team to a 7 wicket win at Accrington. Khurana followed up his figures of 9-24 in the corresponding fixture last season by taking 8-39 to bowl Accrington out for 102. He then hit eight fours in making an unbeaten 58 to take Bacup to victory in the 21st over. Accrington professional Jacob Clarke top scored with 44, with Ben Gorton making 17 in an opening stand of 46. Stuart Crabtree's 15 was the only other double figure score as Khurana ran through the home sides batting line up once again. Clarke (3-43) took all 3 Bacup wickets to fall with Jack Bradford supporting his professional with an unbeaten 13.
