Accrington v Littleborough
Division 2 leaders Littleborough went down to a second successive defeat this time by 90 runs at Accrington. Professional Jacob Clarke hit his maiden Lancashire League century in Accrington's 198-9. Clarke hit eleven fours and three sixes in making 105 from 152 balls. He put on 102 for the 1st wicket with Ben Gorton who hit seven fours in his 52. Only Simon Hanson (11) made double figures of the rest of the batsmen with Littleborough professional Travis Townsend taking 3-45. Littleborough lost opener Tom Pye (1) to Clarke (2-16) at 17. Hanson trapped skipper Clinton Perren (9) in front at 37 and one run later Clarke had Townsend caught by Mohammed Tayyib for 1. Toby Bulcock joined the attack and removed Zac Perren who passed 500 runs for the season during his knock of 21. Bulcock then had Matt Hernon caught by Tayyib for 4. Tayyib got a wicket of his own when he cleaned up Jacob Kaye (2) at 65. Ryan Miskella and Louis Russell put on 20 before Russell was caught by Bulcock off Kian Farnworth (2-15) for 7. Bulcock picked up Ben Williamson (3) and Farnworth had Miskella caught by skipper Graeme Sneddon for 33. Bulcock (4-32) polished off the innings by having Lewis Willman caught by Farnworth for 7 at 108.
