Fourth placed Crompton beat Accrington by 178 runs at Glebe Street. Crompton piled up 317-9. Professional Mohammed Jamal hit 86 with eight fours and five sixes, Hassan Fazal hit a league best 74, including six fours and three sixes and skipper Denis Louis hit seven fours and a six in making 64. Jake Hooson also made 15 with Ben Gorton taking 4-77 and professional Jacob Clarke picking up 4-89. Clarke then passed 500 runs for the season in making 21 out of an opening stand of 26 with Gorton (9). Kian Farnworth hit 40 and Andy Greenwood an unbeaten 27 but last man George Mills was the only other man in double figures with 10. Fazal took 3-41 and Jamie King 3-20 to bowl Accrington out for 139
