Accrington professional Lasith Lakshan smashed 75 from 37 balls to help his side beat Rishton by 7 wickets at the Property Shop Arena to record a first win in the competition for three years. Lakshan hit seven fours and six sixes, adding 84 for the 2nd wicket with Tom Walker (20 not out). Earlier Walker and Jimmy Hayhurst bowled identical spells of 2-11 from 4 overs to keep Rishton down to 108-8. Sajid Patel hit 22, professional Sachithra Perera 20 and Jack Hilton 17 for Rishton.
