Division 2 leaders Haslingden dropped to second after failing to pick up maximum points in a 30 run win at Accrington. Sub professional Mini Bhada top scored with 69 in Haslingden's 201-9 with Toby Bulcock picking up 4-52 for Accrington. Sean Hunsley (5) was Bulcock's first victim at 34, caught behind by Matt Wilson. Fellow opener Graham Knowles (24) fell to the same combination at 52. Matt Griffin and Bhada put on 51 for the 3rd wicket before Griffin (28) gave Accrington professional Lasith Lakshan (2-33) a return catch at 103. One run later Alex Coleman was caught behind by Wilson off Tom Walker without scoring. Lewis McIntosh (2) fell to Stuart Crabtree (2-25) at 114. Crabtree picked up his second wicket when Joe Sipocz was caught by Andy Greenwood for 13 after adding 30 with Bhada. Bulcock returned to trap Garry Sudworth (5) at 171 and have skipper Jordan Shannon (8) stumped by Wilson at 197. Bhada was eighth man out at 197 for 69 from 91 balls with three fours and a six. Rain during Accrington's innings reduced the target to 164 from 37 overs but the innings got off to the worst possible start in reply losing Wilson to Oliver Lord (2-30) before a run had been scored. Jon Hayhurst (4) followed at 17 caught behind by Leon Brennan off Sipocz. Lakshan's poor form with the bat continued when he also fell to Lord for 2 at 23. Walker (8) was next to go to Sipocz at 43. Opener Crabtree was then caught by Hunsley off Sudworth for 32 with the score on 81. Bulcock (5) was Bhada's (3-54) first victim at 107. Skipper Graeme Sneddon was stumped by Brennan off Sudworth after hitting a fine 53 from 61 balls, including four fours and two sixes. Bhada sent back Greenwood (11) at 133 and Riley Armstrong (10) without addition as Accrington closed on 133-9.
