Haslingden won for the first time this season, beating Accrington by 52 runs at the CDM Windows Bentgate Cricket Ground. Toby Bulcock picked up a league best 7-35 with Lewis McIntosh (56) and sub professional Samit Patel (52) both hitting half centuries in Haslingden's 216-8. Accrington sub professional Jack Edgar trapped Graham Knowles for 17 with the score on 33. Bulcock then removed opener Matt Griffin for 41 at 113 and Connor Reed (4) at 126. Patel became Bulcock's third victim at 130 after hitting three fours in a 66 ball innings. Alex Coleman (17) was next to after adding 47 for the 5th wicket with McIntosh, caught by Stuart Crabtree off Bulcock. Seven runs later Sean Hunsley (3) was clean bowled by Bulcock. A 7th wicket stand of 31 was broken when McIntosh was also bowled by Bulcock for 56, including four sixes and three fours. Jo Sipocz (1) fell to the final ball of the innings when he too was bowled by the slow left armer. Sipocz then snapped up Matt Wilson without scoring at 11. Left handers Crabtree and Edgar put on 68 for the 2nd wicket before the paid man fell to his opposite number for 30. Tom Walker (4) was trapped in front by Patel at 106 and eight runs later Bulcock (5) was trapped in front by McIntosh. Crabtree was next to go at 118 when he was caught by Coleman off Patel for 58, including eight fours. McIntosh then had Jon Hayhurst caught behind without scoring at 122. Riley Armstrong (14) joined Andy Greenwood to add 26 before he fell to Patel. Matt Taylor (0) survived 2 balls before becoming Patel's 5th victim. Skipper Graeme Sneddon (8) became victim number six for Patel (6-33) leaving Greenwood (20 not out) and Jimmy Hayhurst (2 not out) unbeaten when the overs ran out.
