Greenmount made up ground on the top three with a 7 wicket win over Accrington at The Log Cabin. A 5th wicket stand of 82 between skipper Graeme Sneddon and Tom Walker helped Accrington post 153-5 in a 24 overs a-side game. Openers Matt Wilson (27) and Stuart Crabtree (7) put on 29 before Crabtree was caught by Hughes off Evan Williams (2-36). Toby Bulcock joined Wilson who fell to a catch by Callum Hunter off Williams at 54. Three runs later Bulcock was bowled by Lewis Dove (2-49) for 17. Professional Lasith Lakshan (3) fell to Dove at 63 to bring Walker and Sneddon together. Sneddon hit four sixes before falling to Hunter for 43 at 145. Walker hit two sixes and a four to finish unbeaten on 43 with Tariq Hussain celebrating his first Lancashire League game in seven years with an unbeaten 4. Chasing a revised 135 from 20 overs, Greenmount lost Jack Harrison to Walker without scoring but Greenmount professional Chesney Hughes and Andy Kerr put on 76 before Kerr was caught by Andy Greenwood off Bulcock for 30. Lakshan dismissed Tom Heaton (6) at 123 but Hughes hit an unbeaten 84 from 53 balls with six sixes and four fours to lead his side home with 17 balls to spare.
