Great Harwood beat Accrington for the first time in a Lancashire League match, leaving The Property Shop Arena with a 2 wicket victory. An opening stand of 68 between professional Lasith Lakshan (31) and Jon Hayhurst (26) was broken by Paul Newton (2-29). Matt Wilson (9) also fell to the slow left armer with Hayhurst departing to Stuart Maher (1-34) two runs later at 80. Tom Walker (18) was caught by Reece Willets off Zeain Ali after adding 60 with Toby Bulcock for the 4th wicket. Great Harwood professional Thikshila de Silva (3-56) removed skipper Graeme Sneddon (6) and Andy Greenwood (0) in successive balls and when Ali clean bowled Bulcock for 43, three wickets had fallen at 151. De Silva removed Connor Tattersall (2) with Ali sending back Riley Armstrong (6) and Jimmy Hayhurst (1) to finish with a senior best 4-26. George Mills finished unbeaten on 7. Walker sent back Caleb Greenhalgh (5) at 13. Ali (7) and Kasir Masood (24) staged a recovery but both were trapped in front by Lakshan at 47 and 54. Willets (17) fell to Bulcock at 89 and Jake Peake (10) was caught by Walker off the same bowler at 108. Bulcock then trapped de Silva (26) in front at 120 and also had Nazakat Hussain (5) caught by Jimmy Hayhurst at 140. Skipper Allan Armer hit an unbeaten 29 to lead his side to victory with 16 balls remaining losing Ismheel Shakeel at 170. Bulcock finished with 4-33.
