Darwen qualified for the quarter finals as runners up in the JWL Bitter Group after an 80 run win over Accrington at The Ainsworth Lord Estates Ground. Sub professional Siddesh Lad hit 49 from 28 balls, stand-in skipper Dave Bowden 35 and Kamran Anwar 28 in Darwen's 183-7. Tom Walker and Jimmy Hayhurst both picked up 2-30 for Acccrington. Bowden and Mark Friend both took 2-3 to help restrict Accrington to 103-8. Jimmy Hayhurst hit an unbeaten 25 and Riley Armstrong 20 for the visitors.
