Rishton won their first game in the Hyndburn T20 competition, beating Accrington by 7 wickets at Blackburn Road. Tom Walker made 27, Matt Wilson 26 and Matt Jones an unbeaten 17 with Andrew Hickey taking 4-16 in Accrington's innings of 103-7. Sajid Patel hit an unbeaten 42 from 45 balls and skipper Brad Boddie and Jack Hilton both made 21 as Rishton got home in the 17th over.
