Rawtenstall beat Accrington by 85 runs in a friendly at the Property Shop Arena. An opening stand of 116 between Matt Kershaw (69) and Cameron Holder (35) laid the foundations for Rawtenstall's 203-5. Rizwan Shafiq also chipped in with 24. Raheem Kasser was Accrington's best bowler with 2-25 from his 8 overs but the home side conceded 54 extras. Tight bowling from Rohid Ashraf (3-24), Abbas Ahmad (3-36) and Keith Roscoe (2-9 from 8 overs) restricted Accrington to 118 all out. Opener Jon Hayhurst hit 47 from 94 balls before being last man out. Riley Armstrong also made 15 but no one else made double figures.
