A brilliant spell of 5-5 by seventeen year-old Tom Walker helped Accrington to an 81 run win over Great Harwood at The Property Shop Arena in the first match to finish. Walker ripped out Caleb Greenhalgh (6), Harris Masood (7), Allan Armer (0), skipper Matt Oddie (2) and Nazakat Hussain (1) to reduce the visitors to 28-6. Paul Clifford (15) and Christian Oddie (9) fought back to take the score to 49 but both fell to Jimmy Hayhurst (2-17). Danny Armstrong (2-5) then polished off the tail by removing Kasir Masood (7) and Paul Newton (2) to dismiss Great Harwood for 65. Andy Greenwood top scored with 34 in Accrington's 146-9. Greenwood hit four fours from 75 balls, adding 50 for the 2nd wicket with Matt Wilson (33) and 35 for the 3rd wicket with Walker (16) after the loss of Jon Hayhurst (0) at 2. Skipper Graeme Sneddon (14) was the only other player in double figures. Kasir Masood took 3-18, Ethan Houldsworth 2-20 and Greenhalgh 2-38 for Great Harwood.
