Accrington went down to an 8 wicket defeat by Todmorden in a rain affected match at The Property Shop Arena. Openers Meeran Shah and Sam Bancroft put on 24 before Shah was run out for 10. The same fate befell Bancroft (11) at 46. Faiz Rasool dismissed Keiren Grimshaw for 2 at 57 and without addition professional Karl Brown was caught behind by Mark Burns off Noah Priestley for 19. Jacob Clarke and skipper Ross Brown put on 50 for the 5th wicket before the home skipper hit a return catch to Todmorden professional Alankara Silva for 21. Eight runs later Clarke departed in identical fashion for 15. Jimmy Hayhurst (3), Graeme Sneddon (11) and Toby Uttley-Muldoon (0) all fell to Todmorden skipper Andrew Sutcliffe (3-30) and Tom Walker was cleaned up by Bilal Abbas for 6 as Accrington were bowled out for 134. Chasing a revised target of 80 from 22 overs, Silva hit an unbeaten 31 from 55 balls, including four boundaries and Chris Schofield hit an unbeaten 20 from 38 balls in Todmorden's reply after Clarke had removed Abbas (6) and Freddie Priestley (13).
