Karl Brown hit an unbeaten 104 in his last match as Accrington professional but his team were beaten by 82 runs at Crompton. Mohammad Jamal hit 88 from 91 balls, Sam Rigby 47, skipper Simon Wright 26 and Denis Louis 19 in Crompton's 222-6. Brown then hit fourteen fours and four sixes in making 104 from 125 balls. Keiren Grimshaw's 12 was the only other double figure contribution. Sub professional Aaron Lilley took 3-41, Carl Taylor 3-32, Harry Dean 2-32 and Adam Good 3-34 for Crompton.
