Burnley stay on top of the table after an 8 wicket win at Accrington. Professional Karl Brown top scored with 37 in Accrington's 90-8 made from a rain reduced 46 overs. Brown faced 130 balls and hit three fours on a difficult wicket. Opener Sam Bancroft was first to fall, trapped in front by Joe McCluskie for 5 with the score on 6. Jon Hayhurst scored just 4 from 55 balls before falling to Cole Hayman. Keiren Grimshaw added 22 with his professional before being stumped by Chris Burton off Bharat Tripathi for 5 at 50. Nine runs later Jacob Clarke was bowled by Chris Holt for 5. Tripathi removed Graeme Sneddon for 2 and then Karl Brown's long vigil ended when he fell to McCluskie. Skipper Ross Brown became Holt's second victim at 82 and McCluskie (3-18) picked up his third wicket on 88 when he cleaned up Tom Walker for 7. Jimmy Hayhurst was unbeaten on 7 when the innings ended on 90-8. Tripathi finished with 2-17 from 15 overs. Openers Liam Bedford and Holt put on 53 before Holt fell to Ross Brown for 27.
