Third placed Ramsbottom ended the season with a 65 run win at Accrington. Skipper Tom Parton top scored with 103 in his team's 235-4 in a 47 overs a-side match. Parton hit eleven fours and three sixes from 104 balls. He added 454 with JJ Fielding (14), 94 with Simon Hanson (32) and 20 with professional Daryn Smit (22). David Ormerod came out of retirement to take 3-40 from 8 overs after Jacob Clarke had picked up JJ Fielding. Martin Cropper (29 not out) and Rehan Udwadia (14 not out) added an unbroken 38 for the 5th wicket. Accrington openers Graeme Sneddon (22) and Jon Hayhurst (19) put on 46 when both men fell. Professional Janith Liyanage made 12 in his last match for the club. Andrew Greenwood made 30, Clarke 28, skipper Ross Brown 17 and Sam Bancroft 13 with Jon Fielding taking 4-73, Hanson 3-11 and Matt Burdaky 2-27 for Ramsbottom.
