Bacup beat Accrington by 7 wickets at Lanehead. Keiren Grimshaw top scored with 56 in Accrington's 126-8. Grimshaw hit five fours in his 104 ball innings. Ross Brown and opener Graeme Sneddon made 13 apiece and Jacob Clarke 10 and there were 20 extras with Matt Ramshead taking 5-40 for Bacup. Skipper Tim Farragher (26) and professional Ernest Kemm put on 53 before the amateur fell to David Ormerod. Kemm and Matt Schofield (19) then added 54 for the 2nd wicket before Kemm was trapped in front by Ross Brown in his last innings before heading home next week. Accrington professional Michael Erlank held a return catch off Schofield without addition but Adam Highley (2 not out) and Matt Thompson (16 not out) took Bacup to victory in the 36th over.
