Next to bottom side Accrington lost to Todmorden for the second day running, this time in a rain reduced 29 overs a-side match at Thorneyholme Road. Simon Hanson took a career best 6-62 from 11 overs in Todmorden's 143-8. Professional Ashton Turner was again the thorn in Accrington's side top scoring with 58 made from 59 balls with one four and two sixes. Simon Newbitt also made 37 and Elliott Gilford 11. Turner then took 3-72 and Matt Collins 2-25 to restrict Accrington to 133-6. Keiren Grimshaw top scored with 48, including three fours, Jacob Clarke made 30 and Ali Hasham and Jon Hayhurst were unbeaten on 16 and 10 at the close. Accrington picked up five batting points.
