Enfield held off a late fightback by Accrington to clinch a nail-biting 1 wicket win at Thorneyholme Road. Home professional Ockert Erasmus hit his first half century of the season, making 66 from 111 balls with six fours to help Accrington make 185 all out. Skipper Graeme Sneddon (26), Jimmy Hayhurst (20) and Stuart Crabtree (27) also hit season's bests in the league. Enfield skipper Tiarnan Hamill took a league best 4-28, Ben Dowling 2-45 and Simon O'Loughlin 2-56. Jimmy Hayhurst removed Liam Bedford (10) and David Ormerod sent back Charlie Jackson (17) but Lewis Wright (23) and professional Diego Rosier took the score to 72. Rosier hit seven fours and two sixes in making 73 from 63 balls before falling to Keiren Grimshaw (2-22). Joe Wrigley (19) helped his professional to add 72 but once they were parted Jimmy Hayhurst (5-37) returned to take 3 wickets in 4 balls to make the game a contest. The medium pacer sent back Adam Bracewell (3), Hamill (0) and Jacob Johnson (0). He picked up his 5th wicket by trapping Sam Cook for 7 but the last pair of Dowling, batting with a runner, and O'Loughlin took Enfield to victory in the 45th over.
