Accrington's increased their amazing run of victories over Rishton to fifteen with an 8 wicket win at Thorneyholme Road. The Hayhurst brothers stole the show with Jimmy taking 4-15 and Jon hitting his maiden senior half century. Professional Ockert Erasmus took 2-29 and Keiren Grimshaw 2-22 in Rishton's 105 all out. Matt Leathert made 21, Chris Lambert 12 and Bradley Boddie and Irfan Muhammed 11 apiece with Extras totalling 24. Jon Hayhurst and Matt Wilson (17) put on 49 and then Hayhurst and Grimshaw (17 not out) did the same until Matt Lambert (2-46) ended Hayhurst's match winning knock thanks to a fine catch by Boddie. The left hander hit eight fours and a six from 58 balls.
