Accrington slipped to a 6 run defeat against Ramsbottom at Thorneyholme Road. After being 66-2 after just 6 overs, Accrington finished on 133-9 chasing the visitors 139-6. Ramsbottom professional Daryn Smit made 84 from 73 balls with ten fours and two sixes adding 54 for the 2nd wicket with Brad Fielding (14). Tom Booth (3-28) removed openers Stuart Crabtree (0) and Matt Wilson (1) but professional Ockert Erasmus put Accrington back in the game with 61 from 48 balls, including six fours and two sixes. Ali Hasham also made 23 and Keiren Grimshaw 24 but Smit took 4-21 to restrict Accrington to just 2 runs from the final over of the innings.
