Ockert Erasmus passed 1,000 runs for the season in Accrington's final match at East Lancs but even a last day win couldn't clinch an LCB Cup place after Church beat Haslingden. Erasmus hit 65 to lead Accrington to victory against his old club with ten fours off 83 balls. An off drive off Lewis Pearson took the South African to the four figure mark for the first time in his fifth season in the Lancashire League. Jacob Clarke also made an unbeaten 29, skipper Graeme Sneddon 19 before being brilliantly caught by Paul Turner at point, Keiren Grimshaw 18 and Ali Hasham 12. The home side had earlier made 162-5 with Erasmus taking 3-62. Mark Lomas hit 53 from 91 balls with five fours and a six, his second half century of the season against Accrington. John Turner also made 45, professional JP de Villiers an unbeaten 15 and Chris Riley 14.
