Accrington won for the second league match in a row at Thorneyholme Road to move into eighth place. Ali Hasham hit an unbeaten career best 48 to lead the home side to a 5 wicket win over East Lancs. Hasham hit six fours and a six from 72 balls, adding an unbroken 54 for the 6th wicket with Keiren Grimshaw who made an unbeaten 24 in a 48 overs a-side game. Skipper Graeme Sneddon made 16 and Stuart Crabtree 11. Professional Ockert Erasmus and Jacob Clarke had almost identical stats with Erasmus taking 4-53 and scoring 17 and Clarke taking a career best 4-51 and also hitting 17. Both were dismissed by Mo Bhada (2-27). Mark Lomas had earlier made 52 from 123 balls before being superbly caught by the diving Clarke off Erasmus. Lomas put on 45 with Paul Kelly (24) after Clarke had removed the top three and Erasmus had sent back his opposite number JP de Villiers for 28. Mo Bhada made an unbeaten 25 to take East Lancs to 151-9
