East Lancs beat Accrington by 5 wickets in a low scoring match at Alexandra Meadows. Stand-in skipper JP de Villiers took 3-4 from 3.2 overs, 2 of which were maidens and Mo Bhada 3-22 as Accrington slumped from 72-1 to 92 all out. Stuart Crabtree made 46 at the top of the order and skipper Ockert Erasmus 16. De Villiers then hit 28 after the loss of Ben Westhead before a run had been scored but after he fell to his opposite number Erasmus John Turner saw the home side home with an unbeaten 26. Jacob Clarke took 2-16 for Accrington who lost for the third match running. Scorecard
