Accrington move up to fifth after an amazing fourteenth win on the trot against Rishton, this time at Thorneyholme Road. Graham Lloyd hit a brilliant unbeaten 95 from just 50 balls with twelve fours and four sixes in Accrington's 252-6. Lloyd's innings was his third in the 90s at Thorneyholme Road where he has yet to score a century. Sam Excell (48) and Ramiz Hussain (a league best 38) put on 74, Accrington's best opening stand of the season. Professional Ockert Erasmus also made 45 with Ali Sartaj taking 4-64 for Rishton. Erasmus then took 5-27 to dismiss the visitors for 129. Chris Lambert hit 24 and Sartaj and Shaun Wyse made 22 apiece but it was 30 Extras conceded by Accrington which proved to be the visitors highest score, Rishton's team included father and son Steve and Brad Juliff together in the senior side for the first time.
