Accrington won on the road for the first time since May 17th in a rain affected game at East Lancs. Professional Ockert Erasmus took 3-10 from 12 overs, 7 of which were maidens and Jimmy Hayhurst took 3-43 when the home sides innings was terminated on 101-7 in the 41st over. Paul Kelly hit an unbeaten 31 and Nick Turner 26 after East Lancs were reduced to 38-6. Rain reduced Accrington's target to 65 in 21 overs. Graeme Sneddon smashed 36 with three fours and two sixes to lead Accrington home in the 10th over. Stand-in skipper Simon Hanson made 11 in an opening stand of 51 with Sneddon, with Nick Turner the best of East Lancs' seven bowlers with 2-2.
