Accrington piled up 254-7 at Colne to secure a 45 run win. Professional Ockert Erasmus passed 500 runs for the season during his 82 ball innings of 59 which included eight fours. Ali Hasham also made a league best score of 46 which included four fours The pair put on 106 for the 4th wicket after Ramiz Hussain (0), Sam Excell (41 from 50 balls with nine fours) and stand in skipper Simon Hanson (29) had fallen. A total of 43 extras helped Accrington make their highest ever score on The Horsfield. Erasmus took 4-53 and Hanson 3-51 as Accrington restricted Colne to 209-9, a total which included 27 extras. Colne skipper Matt Walker top scored with a career best 46 with five sixes and one four before being run out after adding 54 for the 9th wicket with Matt Clark (11 not out). Khurrum Nazir also made 40, including four fours and a six, Alex White 21, professional Ali Azmat 19, Joel Duerden 17 and Lewis Rimmer 13.
