Accrington move up to fourth spot after a 41 run win over bottom club Bacup at Thorneyholme Road. Professional Ockert Erasmus hit an unbeaten 95 in Accrington's 177 all out. Erasmus hit eleven boundaries from the 129 balls that he received and he now needs another 40 runs for 1,000 in league matches this season. Sam Excell made 14, skipper Stuart Crabtree 11 and there were 34 extras. Bacup professional Haseeb Azam took 4-37 to pass 50 wickets for the season. Erasmus took 4-25 as Bacup were bowled out for 136. Tim Farragher made 23, passing 500 runs for the season, Anthony Taylor 19, Adam Highley 18 and Matt Collinge 13.
